“Annie” workshop (for children ages 6-13)
Does your child dream of being in the musical, ‘Annie”? If so, this is the workshop for you. Taught by former “Annie” cast member (original Broadway production), director of Award-winning documentary film, “Life After Tomorrow,” creator of popular fan site, and renowned Los Angeles acting/singing coach, Julie Stevens. This workshop will prepare your child to audition for any production of “Annie,” including the current National Tour.
Workshop will include:
* How to correctly sing/perform the songs from the show
* What to expect at an audition
* What makes a good headshot and how to write a resume for your child
* A constructive critique of your child’s audition
* Learning the dance combination for “You’re Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile”
* Q&A with Julie and a special guest

Musical Theatre Workshop (ages 13-adult)
This is a professional musical theatre Master Class taught with live accompaniment. Performers will sing an audition/musical theatre song of their choice and receive direction, guidance and feedback. This is a great opportunity to polish your audition/performance technique and develop a solid book of audition material. All performers will receive song recommendations, determine their “type,” both physically and vocally, learn how to communicate with an accompanist, discover what song keys work best for their voice, improve auditioning skills, and learn how to personalize and connect with the material.
